Sensory-Friendly Mornings at the PNE Barns For the fifth year in a row, AutismBC and the PNE are excited to invite you to Sensory-Friendly Mornings at the PNE Barns on August 27 and September 3, 2026, from 9:00–10:30 a.m. — explore the barns before the Fair opens to the public! For this exclusive event, were opening the livestock barns specifically for AutismBC members, giving you the chance to explore with reduced noise, smaller crowds, and a calmer atmosphere both on-site and throughout the surrounding grounds. Interested in entering to win a child admission pass, generously donated through the PNEs KCs Kids Ticket Donation Program? Just select the admission entry option when you register. What to Expect Access to the Livestock Barns, Discovery Farm, and other barn exhibits A sensory-friendly environment with reduced noise and activity A chance to interact with the animals in a comfortable setting Good to Know After registering, we will send a Know Before You Go guide—including photos to help front-load the experience for your family, plus parking details. Please bring your own sound-dampening device (noise-cancelling headphones, earplugs, etc.); this accommodation can make a real difference for your family member. All members must register for the event and have a ticket for themselves and any household members attending. Members attending this event are welcome to stay and enjoy the Fair once it opens to the general public at 11:00 am, with the purchase of a separate Fair ticket. Attending our event does not include general admission to the Fair once it opens to the public. Please note: support workers do not need an AutismBC membership to attend and support a client. If youd like to stay after our event and visit the Fair, youll need to purchase Fair admission tickets in advance through Ticketleader . A member discount code will be provided to all registrants at a later date — please use this code when purchasing your Fair tickets. Guests with an Access 2 Card can receive complimentary admission for their caregiver. On the registration form, members will have the opportunity to enter to win a child admission pass to the Fair, courtesy of the KC Kids Tickets for Kids program. Volunteer and Support Us!
