Registration opens August 12 @ 12:00 pm Come out for a fun and relaxed evening with other autistic adults at The Rec Room! This is a great opportunity to connect, socialize, and enjoy some arcade fun in a welcoming environment. We’ll start the night with some light bites before heading into the game area. Each autistic adult will receive a wristband loaded with tokens to enjoy gameplay in the arcade. Please Note: This event is for Autistic adults (18+) who attend events and programs independently, without careperson support, as well as for Autistic adults (18+) who require a careperson(s) to support them. Autism Ontario does not provide transfer-of- care or careperson support for its programs. If an Autistic person requires support to attend, the careperson is expected to remain on site to provide support as needed during the event or activity. If accommodations are needed, please inquire by emailing hasana.avey@autismontario.com This is not a sensory-friendly event — the arcade can be loud and visually stimulating. However, we will have a quiet room available for anyone who needs a break or prefers a calmer space during the event. After registering, please let us know if you have any dietary requirements or food allergies, so we can plan accordingly. Note: All participants are required to sign a Code of Conduct annually. Cost: $5.00/person. Once registered and paid, refunds will not be issued. Once your registration is successful, you will receive an automatic confirmation.
