Registration opens August 11 at 9:00 am. Get creative with stoneware at the Canadian Clay & Glass Gallery. In this 2-hour workshop, you will hand build a small plate or bowl by rolling out and pressing a slab of clay into a mold to create a functional piece of pottery. Decorate the surface with plant impressions, stamps, decals, DIY stencils, or painted designs! There will be lots of inspiration around you in the classroom and exhibition spaces to guide your creative process. After the workshop, your piece will stay behind at the Gallery for kiln firing by our Studio Technicians. Kiln firing will take 4-5 weeks to complete after your visit. The wares will air-dry for 5-7 days before the first (bisque) firing.
