Registration opens August 27th, 2026 @12:00pm Join Autism Ontario at the 11th annual ThunderCon! You may choose to attend either or both of the two days at any time and ThunderCon staff and volunteers will admit you entry! Cost: Free Sign-up to receive Free wristband entry to this year’s ThunderCon. People of all ages are encouraged to sign up for this event – this is a family-friendly event that is also open for adult registration. “ThunderCon is Northwestern Ontario’s premiere fan convention, bringing together lovers of sci-fi, fantasy, gaming, comics, anime, and pop culture for an unforgettable celebration of fandom. We are a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organization dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and exciting space where fans can connect, learn, and have fun. From celebrity guests and panels to cosplay competitions and gaming zones, ThunderCon is an adventure built for fans, by fans.” Autism Ontario is excited to participate in this year's ThunderCon by hosting a Sensory Area throughout the two-day event. Our space features various sensory experiences designed to accommodate all visitors and families. Attendees can also explore information such as books, crafts, scavenger hunts and enjoy sensory-friendly activities that are fun for the entire family.
