<p>This training is designed to increase awareness, build understanding, and provide practical knowledge for caregivers. Natalie Buerger, PhD—a licensed psychologist and Clinical Director of the Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinic at Huntsman Mental Health Institute—will lead this introductory session covering what autism is and how it is diagnosed, common characteristics, differences in how autism may present in boys and girls, and the importance of early identification and support. Dinner will be provided.</p>
