Registration Opens Aug 27 at Noon. Flying in a Q400 propeller planeFamilies will fly in a Q400 Propeller Plane Air Canada invites families to participate in Autism Aviation Days. Designed to support children on the autism spectrum and the people who travel alongside them, Autism Aviation Days help families become more accustomed with the airport journey. This includes check in, security screening, boarding and time on board an aircraft, all without the pressures of a typical travel day. This experience is as close to a real flight as possible. Families will go through the check-in process, pass through security, board the plane, and sit in their assigned seats. The plane will take flight and do a short 15min loop in the air then land. Individuals and families looking to participate in the event are required to: • Bring a Canadian government-issued photo ID. A passport is preferred. If a child has no photo ID a health card or birth certificate is required.
