Registration opens September 17 at 12:00 pm Autistic adults (18+ years) to join us for some fun at Planet Splatter! Dive into a world where creativity gets messy, in the best way possible! Step inside Planet Splatter and let your imagination run wild. Fling, flick, and splash vibrant colours across canvases and walls as you create your very own abstract masterpiece. It’s an unforgettable, hands-on experience that’s bursting with energy, laughter, and inspiration. Dress for a mess! All paints are non-toxic and wash off easily with hot water, but they may stain some fabrics and shoes. We recommend wearing clothing and footwear that you don’t mind getting splattered with colour. Each participant will receive a small handheld canvas to paint and bring home the same day. Please bring a bag or cover to safely transport your artwork. Warning Glow in the Dark session: Altered depth perception and visibility due to reduced/altered (black light) lighting at Planet Splatter may cause participants to fall, slip, misstep or collide with other participants or collide with equipment. This event is for Autistic adults (18+) who attend events and programs independently, without careperson support, as well as for Autistic adults (18+) who require a careperson(s) to support them. Autism Ontario does not provide transfer-of- care or careperson support for its programs. If an Autistic person requires support to attend, the careperson is expected to remain on site to provide support as needed during the event or activity. This program is generously funded by our partners at Charitable Gaming Community Good through charitable gaming fundraising at Bingo World and Gaming Richmond Hill. It is intended to support autistic people and their families in York Region and those that live outside of this area may have their registration cancelled. Cost: $5.00/autistic adult. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once your registration is successful, you will receive an automatic confirmation. If not received, please check your "junk" or your "other" box. If you have not received an email, be sure to check your spam/junk folders. Please note that we strive to offer tickets to as many families as possible, but tickets are limited.
