Join us for a 4-week cooking program in partnership with Chef Kirk. Participants will be hands-on in this cooking program, socially interacting with others, and building their confidence while developing their kitchen skills. Each class will consist of an introduction, cooking, and eating the meal you prepared together. Dates: Wednesdays, November 4, 11, 18, 25, 2026 Time: 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM Registration is required. This program is for autistic individuals, ages 13 - 17 years. Maximum 2 children per family. If your family is larger than 2, please email stephanie.maguire@autismontario.com before registering. Due to the limited class size, we ask that participants who register can attend all four weeks. This program is intended for families in York Region, made possible by our generous partners at Bingo World and Gaming Richmond Hill. If you register and live outside of York Region, your registration may be cancelled. Cost: $35.00/child. Once registered and paid, refunds will not be issued. Please reach out once your registration has been confirmed if your child has any food allergies or food restrictions. Once your registration is successful, you will receive an automatic confirmation. If not received, please check your "junk" or your "other" box. If in doubt, contact your area administrator at centraleast@autismontario.com Parent/Caregiver supervision is required. This is not a transfer of care event. The parent/caregiver is required to remain onsite. Please note that we strive to offer tickets to as many families as possible, but tickets are limited. If, for any reason, you are registered and can no longer attend, please let us know so we can share those tickets with other families.
