You're not alone. For many autistic and neurodivergent children, toileting is more than just an everyday milestone. Sensory, communication, and motor differences can add layers of complexity to the process for both children and their caregivers. What works for one child may not work for another, leaving caregivers unsure of where to start or how to keep going when progress feels slow. This virtual workshop offers practical, neuro-affirming strategies to support your child through toilet training at their own pace, honouring their individual needs and family routines. In this workshop, participants will learn: The key factors to consider before starting toilet training with your child.How to create a toileting routine and support your child in building communication and self-care skills.Strategies to handle daytime training, bedwetting, and challenging behaviours.This workshop is appropriate for parents and caregivers of autistic children, as well as educators and other professionals working with this population.
