Empower is a specialised learning pathway within Awsaj Academy for students with severe learning difficulties and additional needs, including autism. Qatar Foundation says it uses a modified curriculum, individual education plans, integrated education and therapy, and life-skills development leading toward the SEN Certificate.

Families apply through Awsaj's online admissions portal. The school reviews the completed application and supporting documents, then decides whether to invite the student for admissions assessment. Submission does not guarantee admission, and pathway fit should be confirmed directly with Awsaj.

Fees apply. Seat availability is grade-specific and changes during the admissions cycle: families should check the live portal for an available application form or use the Registration of Interest route where seats are unavailable.

Eligibility

Awsaj Academy serves students aged 3–18; the Empower page describes children and teenagers with severe learning difficulties, including autism. The current admissions procedure requires a formal medical diagnosis of learning difficulties and applies QF/Qatari priority and grade-level seat availability. Confirm current Empower-specific eligibility and grade placement with admissions.

How to apply

Check the live Awsaj admissions portal for the child's grade. Complete the online admission form and upload all required documents. Awsaj reviews the completed file and may invite the student for an admissions assessment; applying does not guarantee enrolment. Where a grade has no seat, use the portal's Registration of Interest route and wait for admissions to contact you.
