GO Transit / UP Express — Support Person Free Travel
Offered by Metrolinx / GO Transit
GO Transit policy allowing one support person to travel at no charge with a customer whose disability requires assistance, with accepted supporting documentation.
GO Transit allows a customer who requires a support person because of disability to travel with one support person at no charge.
When requested by a fare inspector, the customer should identify that they are travelling with a support person and show accepted documentation, such as a GO support-person sticker, Access 2 Card, CNIB card, or a support-person card from another transit agency.
Support-person stickers can be requested at staffed home GO stations or Union Station. Check staffing hours before travelling.
