Autism Discovery, led by Lara Schaeffer (a Certified Autism Specialist and late-diagnosed autistic adult), provides mentoring, counseling, and guided self-assessments for autistic teens, adults, and families. Services include one-on-one mentoring and counseling, guided self-assessments for adults seeking clarity on autism, the PEERS® social skills program (ages 12–35), and career coaching using the Greenwood System™. Lara brings 28 years of experience as an educator and counselor (Harvard M.Ed.) and operates from a neurodiversity-affirming perspective, helping individuals understand autism beyond stereotypes, recognize strengths, and build authentic confidence.
