UC San Diego Autism Center of Excellence (ACE) is a research-focused diagnostic and early detection center within the UC San Diego School of Medicine's Department of Neurosciences. The center specializes in identifying autism spectrum disorder in infants and young children (ages 12–24 months and older) using evidence-based screening approaches including the Get SET Early® Model, eye-gaze tracking technology, and neuroimaging research. ACE conducts longitudinal research on early biomarkers of autism and participates in the CDC-funded Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring (ADDM) Network and the SPARK autism research initiative.
