Rady Children's Feeding Team, established in 1997, evaluates and treats infants and children with complex feeding and swallowing problems, including food refusal and texture limitations. The multidisciplinary team includes a gastroenterology nurse practitioner, speech therapist, occupational therapist, developmental psychologist, and registered dietitian. Services for children ages 12 months to 12 years include comprehensive evaluation, group treatment, and caregiver education focused on nutrition, mealtime routines, and positive food interactions. Telemedicine visits are available for existing and new patients.
