Somali Parents Autism Network (SPAN) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2014 that provides culturally-sensitive education, advocacy, resources, and support to Somali families of children with autism spectrum disorder in Minnesota. SPAN offers parent networking and support groups, system navigation assistance to connect families with service providers and resources, educational workshops, and community outreach to promote autism awareness and inclusive opportunities.
