The High Desert Education Service District (HDESD) provides early intervention and early childhood special education services to children birth to kindergarten age in Central Oregon (Crook, Deschutes, and Jefferson Counties). Services include screening, evaluation, and specially designed instruction for children with developmental disabilities or delays, delivered through a parent coaching model in home and community settings. Services are free to families.
