Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital's Child Life and Creative Arts Therapy Department provides therapeutic support to hospitalized children and adolescents through play, art, music, creative writing, and educational services. The department helps young patients cope with medical stress and anxiety using developmentally appropriate activities, preparatory play, group socialization, and bedside interventions. Services are delivered in-hospital and include the Child Life Zone, a state-of-the-art environment with arts and creative opportunities, educational instruction for grades K–12, and family support resources.
