Round Rock Social Skills provides play-based social skills groups for elementary and adolescent children ages 5–12, led by a Texas state-certified special education teacher. Groups are small (3 children to 1 adult, max 6 per group) and organized around shared interests (art, Lego, Pokemon, D&D, board games, music). The provider uses child-led, play-based approaches combined with coping and mindfulness strategies (AIM, ACT Matrix, SkillStreaming, Canvas art curriculum) to build skills in perspective-taking, executive function, frustration tolerance, turn-taking, and safety. Cost is $45 per hour-long session; no diagnosis or insurance required, with a scholarship program in development.
