Special Kids, Incorporated (SKI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1990 that empowers and supports families of children and individuals with disabilities, particularly those traditionally underserved and underrepresented. SKI provides one-on-one consultations with parents, workshops on IEP and ARD meeting strategies, support groups for parents and caregivers, and resources to help families advocate for appropriate services in school and community settings. The organization serves Houston and surrounding areas and works to help children with disabilities, including autism, succeed at home, in school, and in their communities.
