A conceptual review that challenges deficit assumptions about curiosity and creativity in autism and proposes directions for future research and support.
<p><em>This conceptual review critiques assumptions that autistic people are necessarily less curious or creative, or that these qualities are expressed in one uniform way. It proposes directions for research and support that recognize individual strengths and variation.</em></p><p><em>This is not an intervention trial and does not establish that autistic people are universally more or less curious or creative.
