A systematic review of robot-assisted and human-delivered autism interventions, with promising but limited and heterogeneous evidence.
<p><em>This systematic review examined 13 randomized or pre-post studies of pivotal response treatment and other ABA-related autism interventions delivered by human or robotic agents.</em></p><p><em>The findings were described as promising, particularly for engagement and naturalistic social contexts, but the studies were few and heterogeneous.
