DD (Developmental Disability)
What it means
In Ontario special education, Developmental Disability is an exceptionality category within the Intellectual category. The Ministry has noted that some existing exceptionality definitions and terminology are outdated and are under review; broader clinical and community uses of developmental disability differ.
