GFCF (Gluten-Free Casein-Free Diet)
What it means
A diet excluding gluten and casein. NICE advises not to use exclusion diets such as gluten-free or casein-free diets to manage the core features of autism in children and young people. Any restrictive diet should be discussed with appropriate medical and nutrition professionals to avoid deficiencies or missed diagnoses.
