LD (Learning Disability)
What it means
In Ontario special education, Learning Disability is an exceptionality category within Communication. It concerns learning difficulties that are not primarily explained by intellectual disability, sensory impairment, or other listed factors. The Ministry has noted that some official definitions and terminology are under review.
